Farm Buddie Smart Irrigation LLP (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Farm Buddie mobile application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect user information. By using the App, you agree to this policy. We collect basic personal information such as name, mobile number, and email address to create user accounts and provide app services.
The App may store certain information locally on the user’s mobile device, including temporary operational data required for IoT connectivity and offline functionality. This information is stored only to improve user experience and ensure uninterrupted service. Data stored locally remains on the device and is not accessed or transmitted unless required for app features or synchronization initiated by the user. Users may clear locally stored data by uninstalling the App or using device settings.
We may collect limited usage data such as app interactions and session duration to improve features and user experience. Collected information is used only to operate the App, support IoT device communication, provide customer support, and comply with legal requirements. We do not sell or rent personal information, and data is shared only when necessary to provide services, meet legal obligations, or protect user safety. Reasonable security measures are applied to protect user data, though no method of internet transmission is completely secure. The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. User data is retained only for as long as required for service delivery or legal compliance, and users may request data correction or deletion by contacting us.
Farm Buddie is a smart irrigation and farm automation company that provides its services through dedicated IoT hardware modules along with the mobile application. The App cannot be used by general users without a Farm Buddie irrigation module, and it has no functionality without the associated hardware. Connectivity for the IoT module is enabled through a machine-to-machine (M2M) SIM card provided and managed by Farm Buddie solely for device data communication. If a customer chooses to discontinue using Farm Buddie products or services, they may request complete deletion of their user data by contacting us at service@farmbuddie.com. Upon receiving a valid deletion request, all associated user data will be permanently deleted from Farm Buddie systems within a reasonable time frame.
